FIVE DAYS TO GO!!!

The suspense is crazy! In only 4 days, the pledges have gone from 375 to 716. In this post I'm only going to reiterate the ways to join the Rebelution (but more specifically, the Book Bomb)

1) Is the most obvious-- Practice Doing Hard Things

2) Participate-- Buy your book(s) on February 23rd.

3) Promote-- Email friends, Facebook, ANYTHING.

4) Pray-- We only want truth to be proclaimed and whether anyone buys books or not, we need everyone to band together and pray that all Christians would be Rebelutionaries (if not in name, then in principle) and would strive to take this world and shake it for the Glory of God-- because the point isn't books, it's motivating and encouraging each other in our pursuit of what is true and right.

This is the paper/pamphlet/email/thing... that I came up with-- basically my whole last post, sorry anyone who wanted to read something new!

Authors Alex and Brett Harris have written a new book entitled Start Here: Doing Hard Things Right Where You Are. Last year, hundreds of people joined together and bought their copies of Do Hard Things on the same day, causing it to reach the place of #5 bestseller on Amazon.com. This year, on February 23^rd, we are doing it again, hoping to reach thousands more with the message of the Rebelution.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

You feel called to do the extraordinary for God.
But you feel stuck in the ordinary.

Here are some basic questions you can consider:

Q: What is the ‘Book Bomb’

A: The ‘Book Bomb’ is just a name for when everyone buys their book on the same day, swamping Amazon with orders and boosting the book’s numbers for one day only.

Q: Isn’t that a little sneaky?

A: Not at all. It is simply a coordinated effort that applies the Rebelution teachings of collaboration to real life principles. We are just trying to get as many people as possible to notice what we’re doing—and join in!

Q: What good will this do?

A: Our goal is to reach people, mainly teens, who have never heard the message of the Rebelution and thus motivate them to godliness, excellence, and collaboration. This message needs to be heard. By reaching such a prominent place on the best sellers’ list, this book will be made available to many who would never have heard of it. Also, it will gain a place in history—a tribute to the power of working together.

Q: What is the message of the Rebelution?

A: In a nutshell, Do Hard Things is the message. The Rebelution is all about teens breaking away from social and cultural norms to do amazing things for the glory of God—whether that is evangelizing in China, turning in a term paper on time, washing the dishes, or digging wells in Africa—we are all about obeying God, working in unity, and changing our world for Christ.

Q: How can I join the Book bomb?

A: Simply go to theRebelution.com before February 23^rd and pledge to buy your book(s) on February 23^rd. Then, on February 23^rd, place your order on Amazon.com.

Together, we can show the world that we mean business, that we aren’t going to go away, and that impossible things are possible through Christ Jesus.

Soli Deo Gloria.

Pass this on! The more people who hear, the more chance we have of succeeding... and we WILL succeed!!

Thank you for taking the time to read this paper. Don’t go away from this and do nothing. Do Hard Things.
