Sunday musings

Obedience is the result of faith in God's promises. Faith without works is dead. How we act is proof of what we believe. Do we really believe what we say we do?

A lot of Christians have trouble obeying God. What does this reveal about their beliefs?

What does this say about our faith?

Yeah if you tell someone they are driving toward a cliff, and they say they believe you and they continue to drive the same direction. Which indicates what they truly believe?

In Christ,

Chip

So true, myself included. So often I need to simply trust God more, yet so often there's a battle that pushes me away from that trust, even when God promises to be with me.

One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Del Tackett, President of the Focus on the Family Institute. He asked: "Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?"
