Happy Fourth of July!!!

My brothers Learned Absolutely Nothing from Toy Story

This is the Fourth of July, the day when Americans celebrate this country. The day when fried chicken, watermelon, and fireworks abound, at least at our house. My brothers (aged 11, 10, and 6 respectively) each bought a ton of fireworks and they have been anticipating this evening when we will set them off. In other words- blow them up. Them and a few other objects.

Does anyone remember the Pixar movie ‘Toy Story’? The one with Tom Hanks as Woody the Cowboy and all the toys who teach that awful boy Sid a lesson about blowing up toys? Well, as my opening statement indicates, my brothers must not have picked up the moral of the story. Last year they had this great plan to attach a few of their little plastic army men to the left over firecrackers and see what would happen.

Well they’re doing it again this year.

So anyway, farewell and hope y’all had a wonderful fourth- don’t forget to read my previous post!

Ha ha! I remember seeing that movie when I was younger and thinking that the moral was to be afraid of your toys...
